meaning in times of crisis
the pandemic forced us to reflect. upon our lives in general and upon our work, priorities and beliefs in particular. what is really important to us individually and as a global species? how do we fulfill personal and societal needs? what are we spending our limited time on?
in an attempt to find meaning and tranquility, i continued looking at materials and light. as the basic building blocks of what we perceive as the physical world, material and light give us the notion of something to hold on to. something tangible and definite, independent of surrounding circumstances.
until the next surprise comes along.
